I am grateful to be able to help my family honour Jack this way, and mark my uncle with this tribute to his memory. 🫶🏽 Thanks for letting me be a part of your healing journey Tito. Rest in power Jack.

Pitcher Plant & Tree Nymph Butterfly
The pitcher plant is carnivorous, and the tree nymph butterfly is toxic to predators. The pair reminds us to not let ourselves be hypnotized by beauty.

Banana Crown
Legend has it that a long time ago, in the Philippines, there was a beautiful girl named Raya who had the gift of communicating with the spirits of the forest. She
fell in love with a handsome ghost-prince, who took on human form. Together, they had a child. However, the ghost-prince knew that eventually he would have to return to the spirit world. His broken heart was buried in the forest and from it sprang a tree, bearing flowers in the shape of his heart. The fruits looked like hands reaching out for his beloved Raya.

Pineapple
In the Philippines, pineapples aren’t just a fruit, they’re a symbol of hospitality and good fortune. That’s why you’ll often see them as a centerpiece during celebrations and special occasions. It’s like saying, “Welcome to my home, let’s have a great time!”

Manga
Mangoes are the national fruit of the Philippines, and are an important part of the local culture. Mangoes are associated with good luck and are often given as gifts during special events. In addition, mangoes are used in various traditional dishes, such as mango sticky rice, and are a popular ingredient in desserts.

Palawan Binturong
the distinctive bearcat has accumulated an array of symbolic meanings. Its shaggy fur and mystique capture the human imagination. For cultures familiar with the binturong as a native wildlife species, it embodies ideas of fertility, prosperity and security through its appearance and legendary behaviors. It also smells like popcorn!

Calamansi
In Filipino folklore and traditional medicine, calamansi is believed to possess mystical and healing properties. Its juice is sometimes used in rituals or ceremonies to ward off evil spirits or bring good luck. Additionally, calamansi extract is a common ingredient in traditional herbal remedies for various ailments, including coughs, colds, and skin conditions.

As always, Lele really made the experience comfortable and enjoyable. I can’t thank her enough for the way she is able to put my vision into a work of art. Thank you, Lele! I’ll keep coming back as long as you’ll have me

I am so grateful that my cousin referred me to Lele to create this beautiful tattoo. She is exceptionally talented and the tattoo design detail is impeccable. I could not have asked for a more healing experience. She was incredibly kind throughout the whole process from DMing her on IG to the full experience at her studio. Thank you Lele for everything.
