A star for light in the dark, rays so she never forgets to shine, the Triple Goddess holding all that maiden mother crone magic, a Pangasinan Tree of Life for her roots and her ancestors, waves because the sea is always calling, and little dots to remind her to just pause and breathe.

Gunita isnāt just the Tagalog word for memory. Itās the mindās living image of everything that matteredā¦deeper than alaala, which is simply to recall. Gunita is the feeling that returns to you without warning. The thing the spirit refuses to release.
Our ancestors knew this. They carried their stories on their skin, in their weaving, in the patterns they pressed into the earth. Memory was never meant to stay inside, it was meant to be worn.
These nine designs are that kind of memory. The compass that orients us. The walis that clears what no longer serves. The turtle that carries home on its back. The sun that our lolos and lolas prayed toward. The leaves and fruit of the land that fed us before we even had words for gratitude. šæ
